The Tormach 1100M CNC is the center of Brian's machine shop. It machines barrel threads to spec, cuts optic pockets to tolerance, chambers actions, and fabricates original components for the YMIR and Vidar production lines.
This is not a hobbyist setup. The Tormach 1100M is a professional production CNC — it runs in tenths of a thousandth. Slide cuts for RMR optics come out level. Barrel threads come out straight. Chamber work comes out in spec the first time.
Facility · 02
Exotic lumber on-site. Redwood lace burl, figured walnut, cocobolo, ironwood — and other species sourced through extended material selection. Brian's wood shop fabricates full rifle stocks, pistol grips, and forends from raw lumber.
Hand-inletted to the action. Fitted, not approximated. If the grain doesn't match the spec, the blank doesn't get cut. The shop carries enough inventory that you can select your material in person before the build starts.

Two full-time Cerakote applicators. A proper spray booth. A cure oven. The coating operation runs production work — Shilen Barrel Company in Ennis, Texas ships their barrels here for Cerakote. That's the kind of volume and quality standard the shop operates at.
Beyond firearms: the coating booth handles motorcycles, custom vehicles, and oilfield components. The same Cerakote chemistry that resists downhole conditions is what goes on your EDC.
